Belize as a young developing country is integrating technology in most high schools all over the country. Personally, when i was in high school, we had access to the computer labs so that we could finish our assignments and do our researches. This is a great achievement since we should be at the world's standards.
some primary schools already have their computer lab and teaching the children how to use the computer, basic skills. this is an advantage because children are curious to learn new concept, especially technology. this is an asset when they get enrolled in high school.
i think that in a couple of year Belize will be able to provide all students with technology skills.

I truly believe that our students should be technology literate to compete in the world globalization. We have to stay abreast with our neighboring country and the rest of the world. We have entered the computer era where we need to maintain high standard to be able to succeed in life both financially and professionally.

It is possible for schools in Belize to provide technology skills to all students.
Last year I was teaching standard VI and with only one computer in the school office my students were able to take turns and get technology skills.
If each school has at least a computer I think that technology can be taught. Even if a school has only one computer literate teacher technology classes can be provided. How soon this can happen? As soon as a school get together and work as a team. Unity is power!

Yes, it can be possible for schools in Belize to provide all students with technology skills. This can happen if everybody works together to implement technology integration in schools. Belize will have to spend lots of money too. This can take years to become possible.
